
Recommended use
Suitable for laboratories that require HPLC or entry-level UHPLC compatible systems. Equipped with a 4-channel solvent deaerator integrated into the pump module, it is recommended to use a quaternary pump in methods that use traditional 3-5 µ m particle size chromatography columns or shorter UHPLC, sub-2 µ m particle size chromatography columns. Typical application areas include QA/QC in the pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage, or personal care products, but also include environmental methods and academic research.
The standard quaternary system is an alternative to the quaternary RS (fast separation) system, which is considered to have higher back pressure and the same system delay volume in design.
